Characteristics: A wonderful hiking tour combined with easy climbing on one of the most beautiful hiking mountains of Gastein. The Dir. South Ridge of Graukogel is the ideal climbing route for first timers and hikers to experience a new challenge with the use of rope and climbing gear. Starting point is the Graukogel Hut 1954m, easy to reach by lift. After a great day, the Graukogel hut is not only a shelter, and offers delicious meals and is a great final for the perfect day. Don’t miss this adventure. |

Characteristics: A mystic mountain in the Kötschachtal, visible from Hotel Grüner Baum. It’s similar shape to the KAILASH names the Bocksteinkogel the holy mountain of Gastein. Not many have reached the summit and just a hand full locals know the way. The secret mountain of Gastein. |

Characteristics: From Bad Hofgastein you see the big snow and ice field of the Tischlerkees, surrounded by the sharp needles of the Tischlerspitze and the Hölltor. This is an absolute demanding peak and the highlight of mountaineering in Gastein. The requirements are comparable to an accent of the Großglockner, highest peak of Austria. Impressive climb to the stone hart of the nationalpark Hohe Tauern. |

Characteristics: A relative easy but wonderful summit with great view. The Ankogel is the perfect mountain for firs timers on high summits over 3000m / 10 000 feet, but also a great goal to collect an other 3000m summit in the Hohen Tauern. On the south side of the mountain is a lift available to bring climber and hiker to an altitude of 2600m and provides an comfortable access.

Characteristics: The Stoa, translated the ROCK is the primary trainings area for intensive climbing and rope handling lessons. You can do the first steps of rock climbing, learning belaying and rappelling as well as the most essential knots. Get prepared for the following rock climbing routes. |

Characteristics: Great route for beginners and advanced climber in good quality rock. Highlight is the rappel station over a 10m roof. This climb and rappel action qualifies you for any further climbing routs in the valley and beyond. Further climbing routes: At this point we are happy to offer you a wide range of high quality rock climbing routs in Gastein. From “For Ever Young 6+” to “ Cliffhanger 8+“ is ever route possible. |

Characteristics: Wonderful climbing route, just behind the Evianquelle on the way to Sport Gastein. Required is a good feeling for friction on the climbing shoes. The slabs are challenging friction climbing, and great opportunity to improve climbing techniques.
Advanced climber may enjoy the great route, while beginners find a challenging learning experience. |

Characteristics: The Alraune Wand, a steep and partly overhanging wall is providing the best multi pitch sports-climbing routes in the Gastein valley. The routes are airy and in best rock. You should bring climbing ability at least in climbing degree 6 to 8 to enjoy perfect rock climbing Gastein. We are happy to offer all routs from “For Ever Young 7- to the Cliffhanger 8+”.
This is the playground to reach the masters degree in rock climbing. |

Characteristics: A very nice and scenic Via Ferrata, for first timers. This is a great opportunity to try something new and discover the vertical world of Ferrata climbing. For beginners we will use additional to the Ferrata Set a climbing rope to provide maximal safety. Come and see. |
